The Canadian Game Awards have officially been postponed.  The 1st annual Awards Show, which was originally scheduled to take place on April 9, 2020, at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto and broadcast live on GINX TV, is now indefinitely postponed in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Rest assured, the safety of the Nominees, Partners, various Committee Members, Fans and Employees is our main priority. We plan to reschedule the broadcasted version at the appropriate time and will provide more information and updates as they become available.

It is with a heavy heart that we postpone this celebration of the growing Canadian gaming industry.

We salute and congratulate all of the 2019 nominees.  The adjudication process will be maintained in order to select the winners in each of the categories.  In the meantime, The Canadian Game Awards team will continue to explore options to coordinate an alternative way to honour this year’s Winners.

The situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve rapidly and we will keep the public informed through social media channels and on our website  for updates. www.cgameawards.ca.
